Love
Little Olivia was born in November 2012. All 7b 11o of the most beautiful little being in the world were handed to me. Not sure who was crying more out of me and a new born Olivia! I was so very happy and so very proud. My whole world and reason for living, breathing and finding enjoyment in life.
I had always been told by friends and family as young man that I would make a great daddy as I’m known for being eccentric in my humour whilst taking the serious matters in life very serious; you take those comments with a pinch of salt; albeit hoping that their visions of the future are true.
It was all I ever wanted from life; to create another life and to help raise, develop and nurture that life until they reach an age of independence. My dream had come true and as a parent I was the happiest man alive for 2 years, 4 months and 4 days.
Break ups happen in life and marriage break ups where children are involved are unpleasant at the best of times. The prior residential circumstances and family ties surrounding Olivia’s mum meant she was taken 400 miles away from me. Life has never been the same for me since March 13th 2015 and I have found myself working fruitlessly day to day to try and reclaim my old self. It will always be fruitless as unless I am that day to day daddy and equal parent I always yearned to be, I can not possibly find true and wholesome happiness
However, I have had 5 years to find alternative coping methods and ways to achieve happiness as much as possible. I love every minute we spend together and those times have to be embraced and enjoyed to the maximum. Then it’s a little matter of finding happiness and a focus when you’re not together.
Much like the other areas of this site, I am no guru, however I have a true and honest experience and understanding of how hard these situations can be so I truly hope you find some help, guidance and inspiration from my videos and website updates
I have to make it clear; this is not an attack on mothers. In fact as a result of the 3 years of court procedures I encountered just to ensure I could see my little girl I started a new operation, Spot Legal Services (www.spotlegal.co.uk), aimed at mothers, fathers and anyone else involved in a guardianship arrangement. I have seen people spend thousands and thousands on solicitors fees which come straight out of their children’s inheritance; this is unnecessary in a huge percentage of cases and we are here to help
The circumstances above took me to some very dark places which I will also be discussing and hoping to provide a shred of light to anyone experience similar feelings
